Private burial services for Paul E. Scott, 83, of Slaughters, were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Onton Cemetery in Onton.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at Western KY Veterans Center in Hanson.

He was born in Webster County on Dec. 12, 1924. He was a retired boilermaker, he loved to shoot trap and also loved to ride BMW motorcycles. He was also a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Keith Scott of Slaughters, KY, and Darrell Scott of Florida; a daughter, Paula Scott Guzzo of Evansville, IN; two brothers, Harlin Scott Jr. of Slaughters, KY, and Joseph N. Scott of Fenton, MO; a sister, Angalene Daugherty of Slaughters, KY; grandchildren; great-grandchildren.

There was no visitation at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. pd.
