Services for Shawn Michael Stipp, 23, of Thayer, KS, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in Thayer Christian Church. Burial followed in Thayer Cemetery.

He died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident.

He graduated from high school in Pagosa Springs, CO, and worked in airplane production for Cessna General Aviation.

Survivors include his wife, Natalie Conover Stipp; a son, Nelson Stipp of Thayer; his mother, Shannon Bright and her husband, Bennie of Dixon; his father, Jimmy Stipp and his wife, Cecilie, of Pagosa Springs; grandparents, Sara and John Essig of Thayer, Tom Stipp of Thayer, Herbert Vance of Dixon; a brother, Scott Stipp of Dixon; a sister, Samantha Stipp of Dixon; two stepbrothers, Dylan Stipp of Pagosa Springs and Dusty Bright of Dixon; five stepsisters, Chelsea Schwartz of U.S. Army, Afghanistan, Deedra Bright of Chanute, KS, and Toni Bright, Britney Bright and Heather Bright, all of Dixon.
