Sebree ‘Firecracker Run’ planned
The Sebree Chamber of Commerce’s 28th annual Firecracker Run is set for Saturday, July 4 at Sebree Springs Park. The event will feature a 10K run at 7:30 a.m. and 5K race at 9 a.m. with a Fun Run to follow. Entry fee is $12 per race ($15 after June 29) and only $5 for the Fun Run. Men’s golf league now underway

Youth softball tourney in Central City
The Central City Youth Athletic Association will host the 3rd Annual Summer Bash on july 10-12 behind the Central City Elementary School. The ASA fast-pitch tourney will be for 10U (machine pitch) and 12U and 14U (player pitch). Entry fee is $175 per team. To enter call Mark Stone at 270-754-2331 (day).
