Irene Greer, 88, of Henderson, formerly of Blackford, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

She was of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger “Blackie” Greer.

She is survived by one daughter, Nilene Franklin of Henderson; one granddaughter, Julie Lyon of Henderson; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Russin and Hannah Lyon of Henderson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Blackford Cemetery in Blackford.

Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay.
