Dixon Bank is now under new, but familiar management after the company’s board of directors announced a new bank president last Wednesday.

Jay N. Campbell will assume the role of president after spending two years as vice president. He replaces Tripp Ramsey, the son of long time president Frank Ramsey Jr.

Campbell, a 2003 graduate of Webster County High School, began his banking career with Dixon Bank in 2002 and has spent time in nearly every department of the bank. He completed his undergraduate work at Murray State University and his MBA at Indiana Wesleyan. He is a 2011 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking held at Louisiana State University. He and his wife, Cassie, reside in Dixon.

“Growing up in webster county and having the opportunity to live and work in the place I’ve always called home is a true blessing,” Campbell said.

Tripp Ramsey will retain his position as CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Dixon Bank was established in 1895 and has been in continual operation serving Webster County and surrounding communities for more than one hundred twenty years.
