The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced on Monday that Webster County had been awarded $7,208.00 in County Road Aid Emergency funds for repairs to Lyce Duncan Road near Dixon.

The fiscal court requested funds for the road, which runs from Highway 983 in the south to Highway 56 in the north, to make it safer for motorists, school buses and other vehicles that utilize the roadway on a regular basis.

“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Webster County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.

The repairs will take place on Lyce Duncan Road /CR 1317, located at 0.4464 mile south of Wilson Road at mile point 1.4464

The Webster County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
