A 10-year-old warrant finally caught up to a Sebree man last week when he was arrested during the execution of an unrelated search warrant.
Javier Sosa was arrested on a 2013 contempt of court warrant, as well as a 2015 warrant by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office last Monday.
The warrants were from Henderson and Daviess counties.
The WCSO had obtained a search warrant for a residence at an undisclosed address, and during the search found Sosa at the location. During routine identification of the individuals present, officers discovered Sosa’s outstanding warrants. Sosa was taken into custody and was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center. He has since been released.
A search of dockets in Henderson and Daviess counties did not turn up scheduled appearances for Sosa.
