James Christopher Dailey, 47 of Slaughters, passed away Thursday September 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a wrestler from kindergarten till the 11th grade, then he started bull riding.

He loved fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and his bloodhound Judd and his other pets.

He was very affectionate and upbeat throughout his life.

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Pam; his parents James Carlie and Melinda Sue Dailey of Sturgis, KY; one son, Christopher Lane (Kendra) Dailey of Norfolk, VA; one daughter, Mallory Elaine Dailey of Spottsville, KY; two bonus daughters, Ramzee and Bentley; two sisters, Rhonda Jo (Sandy) Burnette of Henderson, KY and Marcie Anne Dailey of Sturgis, KY; three nephews, Tyler James Burnette, Seth Thomas Burnette and John Michael Dailey; and one niece, Josie Carlie Hope Dailey.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister Tommy Stone will officiate with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY.

Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8pm and from 8 till service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
