Justin James Oates 42, of Dixon, KY passed away on Thursday January 19th, 2023 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. He had worked at the KY Department of Transportation at the Webster County Barn for several years. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Dixon and Wheatcroft Fire Department’s. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He also loved dirt track racing.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lori Diemart Harper and his grandparents. Survivors include his father Jim(Patricia) Oates of Dixon, KY; 3 sisters Nicole Harper-Butler of Henderson, KY; Sherry(Travis) Glassco of Dixon, KY and Lisa(Charles) Burnett of Sebree, KY; 4 nieces and nephews Preston Glassco, Briana Burnett, Noah and Payton Butler and Aunts and Uncles.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday January 25th, 2023 at 6pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro Bobby Allen will officiate. Friends may visit from 4pm until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
