Kenith Earl Beckner, 75 of Marion, passed away on August 26, 2021 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

Mr. Beckner was born on June 27, 1946 in Wheatcroft, KY the son of the late Charles Manuel Beckner and Lila Thompson Beckner. He was preceded in death by his sister Alice Mae Beckner, and his brothers, George, Arthur Lee, Roy, Larry, James Alford.

He was a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, he was a coal miner at Peabody Coal Co. Camp #11 mines and Island Creek Coal Co. Providence #1, he enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandkids and great granddaughter Averie Grace.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Beckner of Marion, KY his sons, James (Tina) Beckner of Clay, KY; Spud (Stacie) Beckner of Saraland, AL; one brother, Johnny Beckner of Clay, KY; four grandchildren, J.T., Zachary, Cullen, Finley Beckner, his great granddaughter, Averie Grace Beckner.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday August 28, 2021 at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Blackford, KY with Bro. Jimmy Sigler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Zach Beckner, J.T. Beckner, Anthony Poe, Charlie Beckner, Joseph Beckner, David Waddell, Glen Groves, Jordan Odom.
