William Joseph “Bill” Sterling, 49 of Sebree, passed away at his home on Sunday September 12, 2021. He was a General Manager for Thompson Industrial Services in Owensboro, KY. He attended Providence Church of Christ in Providence, KY. He loved spending time with his family and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Judith Sterling and Roy Lee Sims. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Kim Williams Sterling of Sebree, KY; one daughter Brittani Nally of Sebree; one son, Jonathon Sterling(Beth) of Drakesboro, KY; his step mother Dianna Sims of Taylorville, IL; three sisters, Gina Fugate(Nery Nunez) of Madisonville; Sheila Winebarger(Donald) of Providence and Becky Erwin of Taylorville, IL; three brothers, Roy Sims of Sebree; Tony Erwin of Illinois and Marion Erwin(Kim) of Tennessee; one grandson, Jackson Nally and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister Chip Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, KY. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 4-8pm and from 9am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family request that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while visiting at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
