The Lady Trojans dropped a pair of games last week to move to 0-3 on the season.

On Thursday, the Lady Trojans traveled to Paducah to face the Paducah Tilghman Lady Blue Tornados.

Webster lost 12-11 in extra innings, but neither school had released stats of that game as of press time.

On Friday, the Lady Tigers of Caldwell County handed the Lady Trojans a disappointing 11-2 loss on the road thank to a big rally in the bottom of the fourth.

After two scoreless innings, the Lady Trojans would draw first blood in the top of the third when Grace Thomas slugged a triple to center field to drive in Sydney Shoulders. But Caldwell would answer back in the bottom half, scoring a run on a two out error to tie the game at 1-1 headed into the fourth.

In the bottom of the fourth, the Caldwell County bats came to life as the Lady Tigers would bat around, scoring nine runs to jumped out to a 10-1 lead.

In the top of the fifth Jade Jerome would drive in Emily Braden to cut the lead to 10-2. The Tigers would counter in with one additional run in the bottom of the sixth to take an 11-2 lead that would hold up for the rest of the game.

Katelyn Cates would take the loss in the circle, allowing seven earned runs through 3.2 innings. Along the way she allowed seven hits and struckout one. Pitching in relief, Chloe Papineau would go for 2.1 innings, allowing six hits and three earned runs while stroking out two.

Gracie Thomas and Jade Jerome would each go 2-for-3 for the Lady Trojans, each with an RBI. Thomas had one triple and Jermoe picked up a double.

Sydney Shoulders also grabbed a pair of hits, going 2-for-4, while Emily Braden was 1-for-4 on the night.
