The Webster County girls’ soccer team claimed its second win of the season last Tuesday in Dixon, posting a hard-nosed 3-0 victory over visiting McLean County in a mostly defensive battle.

Net minder Devanne McLean turned in an impressive complete match in goal for the Lady Trojans, stopping all 11 of the visitors’ shots on goal.

Meanwhile, Webster had an efficient night on offense, scoring on three of its seven shots.

The Lady Trojans spread out the goals in the game, with single scores by three different players.

Brooklyn Conrad, Lilly Whitsell, and Kamryn Pratt each found the beck of the net for WCHS.

Whitsell also added an assist, and was joined by solo assists from Paige Shepherd and Allison Jaime.
