Webster County’s boys golf team went on the road last Monday, Aug. 30, and dominated host Hopkins County Central, 196-244, at Madisonville Country Club.
The Trojans won each pairing on the afternoon, with all four scorers and their fifth player besting their Storm counterparts.
Cade McCully was medalist for the match with a 42, bettering his opponent by two strokes.
Michah Austin won his match 46-69, and Gentry Jones came out with a 48-65 victory. Cade Howell rounded out the Trojans’ scorecard with a 60-66 win.
Eli Preston did not score for Webster County, but still posted a 72-79 win on the afternoon.

The Trojans followed up with a 3-man road loss to Crittenden County on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Cade McCully finished second on the day with another solid performance, carding a 42.
Micah Austin finished the match with a 50, and Gentry Jones scored 57 for WCHS.
WCHS is scheduled to host Union County Thursday at Providence Municipal Golf Course.
