The Greater Louisville Classic is one of the more prestigious cross country meets in Kentucky, and the Webster County boys team had a great showing on Friday as the Trojans finished 9th out of 42 teams.
Ryan Roland paced the Trojans with a time of 16:34.40 to finish 30th while Trevor Baker was 53rd with a 16:53.60 clocking. Garrett West was 71st with a 17:11.20, Aidan Whitsell ran the course in 17:56.60 to place 162nd, and Layden Wagoner was one second behind Whitsell to finish at 165th. Vincent Major rounded out the Trojan effort with a 18:59.10 clocking.
Reese Powell led the Lady Trojans as she was 169th with a time of 22:37.90 while Ava Stone was 173rd with a 22:42.50 clocking. Other times for Webster were: Grayson Haynes, 23:51.50; Ryleigh Powell, 23:58.70; Delani Baskett, 24:38.20; Caroline Nally, 25:47.10; and Madison Moody, 26:30.60.
