The Webster County Trojans participated in their second scrimmage game on the road against Paducah Tilghman last Tuesday night.
The Trojans opened up with a 19-12 lead at the end of the first quarter against the Blue Tornadoes. Then in the second quarter Paducah Tilghman would outscore Webster 19-15 to make it a close one with the score 34-31 going into halftime.
To begin the second half the Trojans outscored the Blue Tornadoes 13-10 to make the score 47-41 at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth and final quarter, the Trojans again outscored the Blue Tornadoes 12-8 to give Webster the win by 10 points of a score of 59-49over Paducah Tilghman.
Junior forward Hunter McNaughton led the Trojans in scoring with 18 points while making two three-pointers and making 2 of his 3 free throw attempts. Senior forward Aden Winn tallied 12 points while making a three-pointer and hitting the only free throw he attempted. Junior forward Destin added 10 points and senior point guard Tyler Camplin added 8 points while making both of his two free throws that he attempted. To round out the scoring, junior point guard Grant Warren tallied 7 points and both senior forward Zaine Geary and freshman guard Bradin Nelson added 2 points each.
As a team, the Trojans hit six of 9 from the free throw line and made 3 three-pointers. The leading scorers for Paducah Tilghman was junior guard Eli Brown with 15 points while making one three-pointer and hitting all four of his free throws attempted and senior guard Jahiem Concentine with 9 points while hitting a pair of three-pointers. The Blue Tornadoes only hit 42 percent of their free throws(8 for 19) but hit five three-pointers in the game.

The Trojans opened their first regular season game last night at home against the Hopkins County Central Storm but that game was after press time. The Trojans will continue the regular season by playing on the road against Christian County Thursday night. On Saturday night Webster will be at Hopkins County Central to face the Caldwell County Tigers in the 6th/7th District Challenge.
