The Webster County Trojans continued their season last Tuesday night on the road against the Marshall County Marshals in Benton, Kentucky.

The Trojans struggled to get their offense going and lost to the Marshals 11-1.

Junior Jaxen Miller scored the Trojans only goal on the night while sophomore starting goalie Jesus Martinez recorded 9 saves while the backup goalie for the Trojans, freshman Evan DeLamar, recorded 5 saves on the night.

Marshalls junior Kian Court scored 2 goals while sophomore midfielder Jericho Evans also scored 2 goals on the night. Junior midfielder Jack Noles scored 1 goal while junior midfielder William Lynch scored 1 goal and recorded 1 assist. Junior Jase Strader scored 1 goal and recorded 1 assist while junior forward Collin Riley scored 1 goal on the night. Senior midfielder Pratik Patel scored 1 goal while senior Eric Hicks scored 1 goal. To round out the scoring for the Marshals, junior Rush Robinson scored 1 goal on the night.

Game 9: Vs. Madisonville North-Hopkins

On Thursday the Trojans hosted Madisonville North-Hopkins in Dixon.

Once again the Trojan offense struggled to get on the board and lost to the Maroons 10-0, falling to 2-7 on the season. The Maroons improve to 7-3-1 .

Trojan sophomore goalie Jesus Martinez had 9 saves on the night.

Senior Tate Young scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist while senior Kael Knight scored 2 goals and recorded 2 assists on the night. Junior Noah Jimenez scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist while freshman Chris Hughes scored 1 goal. Senior Logan Rainwater scored 1 goal while freshman Sam Dodds scored 1 goal and recorded 1 assist on the night. To round out the scoring for the Maroons, senior Dalton Daves scored 1 goal.

The Trojans are scheduled to play on the road at McCracken County on Saturday October 10th at 11:30 a.m.
