The Lady Trojan Volleyball teams were in action over fall break.

On Monday, the team traveled to Ft. Campbell for a JV/V match up. Both teams picked up wins. Brooke Burton led the JV squad with 6 aces, with Madison Gragg recording 3 kills. Audrie Ellis led varsity with 8 aces, while Maggie Jones recorded 26 kills. 26 kills is a new game record for Jones.

On Tuesday, the teams traveled to Ohio County. All 3 teams were defeated by the Lady Eagles in straight sets. Brooke Burton led the freshman team with 3 aces, with Davi Outlaw recording two kills. Burton also led the junior varsity team with 2 aces, with Chloe Soukup picking up 3 kills. Lacey Pugh and Mary Kate Rakestraw each recorded an ace during the varsity match. Maggie Jones led with 7 kills, followed by Rakestraw with 3.

The teams ventured to Muhlenberg County for a game on Tuesday. The JV team came from behind to pick up the win. Kyla Plowman recorded 3 aces, with Ella Rakestraw picking up 2. Chloe Soukup led with 6 kills, with Madison Gragg and Brooke Burton picking up 3 kills each. The varsity squad dropped the best of 3, 1-2 to the Lady Mustangs. Audrie Ellis led with 5 aces, with Sydney Shoulders picking up 4. Maggie Jones led with 10 kills, with Mary Kate Rakestraw recording 8.

The Lady Trojans will end their regular season at home on Thursday against Hopkins Central.
