The freshman and varsity teams picked up two more wins on the season.
On Tuesday, Hopkinsville came to Dixon. The freshman team won in two sets. Brooke Burton led with 4 aces, with Brynlee Vanover and Raynei Roy picking up 3 aces each. Chloe Soukup led with 3 kills, with Madison Gragg, Paige Rakestraw, and Burton recording 2 kills each.
The JV team lost in 3 sets to Hopkinsville. Kyla Plowman led with 3 aces, with Davi Outlaw, Ella Rakestraw, and Laykin Smith recording two aces each. Brooke Burton led the attack with 7 kills.
Varsity defeated the Lady Tigers in straight sets (25-21, 25-16, 25-12). Allison Meisel led with 5 aces, followed by Lacey Pugh with 4 aces. Maggie Jones led with 15 kills, followed by Pugh with 8.
The freshman picked up a hard fought win against the Lady Rockets on Thursday. Chloe Soukup led with 2 aces, followed by Brooke Burton, Mallory Burns, Davi Outlaw, and Madison Gragg with 2 aces each. Burton led the attack with 8 kills.

The JV team lost in straight sets to Crittenden. Ella Rakestraw led with 4 aces, while Brooke Burton led with 4 kills.
Varsity defeated the Lady Rockets in straight sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-19). Kylie Hardison led with 5 aces, followed by Audrie Ellis and Maggie Jones with 3 aces each. Jones led the attack with 14 kills, followed by Mary Kate Rakestraw with 6.
The JV team hosted a tournament over the weekend. They picked up a win against Trigg, while losing to Hopkinsville, Marshall County, and Crittenden County. Stats from the tournament are incomplete, but Chloe Soukup finished pool play with 13 aces. Brooke Burton, Madison Gragg, and Ella Rakestraw also recorded multiple aces. Soukup also finished pool play with the most kills, with Burton, Gragg, Autumn Piercefield, and Paige Rakestraw also recording multiple kills.
The middle school team will now finish their season with a home game on Oct. 11, while the high school teams with finish with several away games before returning home for the season finale on Oct. 14.
